Now that’s a throwback.

Colin Powell proved selfies aren’t just a millennial phenomenon, posting a mirror pic from the 1950s to his Facebook page on Thursday.

Powell, 76, bridged the generational gap with his black-and-white photograph, which showed his younger, very dapper self posing in a bedroom.

The former secretary of state also teased Ellen DeGeneres about making Twitter history with her star-studded Oscars selfie.

“Throwback Thursday – I was doing selfies 60 years before you Facebook folks,” he wrote. “Eat your heart out Ellen!”

Powell’s snapshot may not be as popular as DeGeneres’s, but he’s getting there: So far, the post boasts nearly 55,000 likes, and one Facebook user dubbed him “#SecretaryofSelfies.”
