The recent separation of Clint Eastwood and Dina, his wife of 17 years, has kicked up more dirt than one of the actor’s famed westerns.
But Eastwood’s daughter Alison is denying at least some reports: that her father and Dina had an argument that threatened to ruin her wedding last march to longtime boyfriend Stacy Poitras.
“We had an amazing wedding – it was a wonderful night,” Alison tells PEOPLE exclusively. “My Father and Dina were cordial, and it was a beautiful family affair.”
The Trouble with the Curve star, 83, and his wife, 48, had been living apart for some time before their split, PEOPLE reported at the time of the couple’s separation.
Dina recently Tweeted that she harbors no ill will toward her husband.
“I don’t like reading negative things about Clint,” she said of the Hollywood legend. “He is a wonderful, good-natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that.”
The couple was married in 1996 and have one daughter, Morgan, 16. The Dirty Harry actor has a total of eight children.
