German supermodel Claudia Schiffer and her husband, British movie producer Matthew Vaughn, are about to become parents again, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
“Claudia is expecting baby No. 2 at the end of the year. Both she and Matthew are delighted,” said the spokesperson.
Schiffer and Vaughn, both 33, were married May 25, 2002, and have a 17-month-old son, Caspar. The couple, who live in England, reportedly are currently on vacation on the island of Majorca.
Schiffer, who’s been named one of PEOPLE’s 50 Most Beautiful People, was engaged to magician David Copperfield, though they never married. She also was engaged to (and, again, never sealed the deal with) British playboy Tim Jeffries.
Vaughn is about to make his directorial movie debut with Layer Cake, a thriller scheduled for October release. His producing credits include such movies by director Guy Ritchie as 1998’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and the ill-fated 2002 Swept Away, starring Ritchie’s wife, Madonna.
Vaughn was the best man at that couple’s wedding.
