Lately, we’ve cut down on our cat video intake. It’s nothing drastic – we’re down to about 12 per hour – but we had to make room.

Right now, we’re alternating between weeping over airline passengers receiving surprise presents at baggage claim and laughing-’til-we-cry at this cat trying to destroy his human’s Christmas tree. (Yup, back to cats.)

We know you’ve been busy picking up last-minute gifts, organizing your party cheese platter and covering your feline with wrapping paper (last cat reference, promise). Don’t worry – we’ve investigated the videos you have to watch this holiday season if you …

… Want to Remind Your Kids That You’re Really Not That Embarrassing

You could have made your whole crew throw on matching monogrammed pajamas and sing a cover of Will Smith’s 1998 single “Miami.” But you didn’t. And this Raleigh, N.C., family did. When it comes to our obsessions with technology, we don’t have a problem and we can stop any time we want. (Okay, fine!) But this commercial reminds us of the good that comes from gadgets when you’re not using them to Instagram all of the presents you got this year.

… Can’t Take Your Eyes Off of Bright, Shiny Things

This Odenton, Md., family’s Christmas display is Kardashian-level over-the-top and about as sparkly as a Taylor Swift concert. See their home glow with 25,000 lights, and, in case you were wondering, this is what 500,000 lights looks like.
