Even more shocking? Her mother, Vilailuck, embraces it all.
“She took my naked spray-tan photo!” Chrissy tells PEOPLE, referring to a fully nude Instagram post that has since been removed. “The one that got me in trouble – she took that photo!”
“In Thai culture, there are lots of things that you’re not supposed to say,” explains Vilailuck, 52. “I really want to say them, but I can’t. But then when she does it, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, that’s what I want to say!’ ”
“She’ll retweet or favorite my Tweet,” adds Chrissy.
By now, her parents are used to her outspoken nature.
“I’ve always been very loud-mouthed,” Chrissy, 28, says. “My dad tried to wrangle me in when I was younger, but there are things I do now that I’m sure they could easily be like, ‘Chrissy, we don’t approve of this.’ But they’ve always been very supportive of how crazy and kooky I am!”
