Ninth-graders across America are sighing in relief: In 2016, the SAT exam will scrap its mandatory essay component, tone down its highfalutin vocabulary questions and return to its iconic top score of 1600.

Besides attempting to open up the SAT to students of all backgrounds – scores on the current SAT are highly correlated with family income – the new move helps today’s students in another unexpected way.

Once again, it will be very easy for them to compare their own SAT scores with those of their favorite celebrities.

To celebrate the occasion, we’ve done some research on stars’ reported SAT scores, all of which came on the old 1600 test. Besides Oscar winner Ben Affleck, who the New York Times says earned “almost perfect” SAT scores, did you beat any of these celebs?

What have we learned? Two things: 1. Apparently, a long time ago SAT scores were not standardized to multiples of 10. And 2. If you’re a celebrity, you could say your SAT score was literally anything and we would believe you.
