If you think this year has been epic for Golden Girl Betty White, just wait till 2011.

White – named an Outstanding Guest Actress in Comedy Emmy nominee Thursday for her historic recent stint as Saturday Night Live host – has created a 2011 calendar to benefit the Morris Animal Foundation, a wildlife charity, reports the BBC. Royalties from the $12.99 calendar, which arrives in stores in September, will be donated to the group.

Over the coming 12 months, the actress, 88, hams it up for the camera, posing with animals – and shirtless hunks.

This isn’t the first time the veteran TV star, who currently stars on TVLand’s Hot in Cleveland, has felt the call of the wild. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa recently honored White for her work with the Los Angeles Zoo, where she is an ambassador for its animals.
