IF YOU HAVE A SMALLER CHEST...
You're lucky enough to be able to pull off this of-the-moment silhouette, says Audrey Jimenez, fit and style expert for EverythingButWater.com. Called a flounce or carnivale top, it has extra fabric and a ruffled hem that will add volume to an A- or B-cup.

IF YOUR CHEST NEEDS EXTRA SUPPORT...
Look for a halter with wide adjustable straps and a thick band along the bottom, advises Jimenez. When tied tight, it'll stay put if you're running, swimming or really, doing anything more strenuous than lifting your cocktail while lying poolside.

IF YOU WANT TO FAKE CURVES…
Slip into a structured bandeau that has a bit of padding. Opt for a top that has removable straps (since you don't need the added support) so you can switch up the style when you feel like it.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR VERSATILITY...
A string triangle bikini is your best bet. Jimenez explains that you can wear it as a full-coverage top or create a sexier silhouette by scrunching up the triangles along the string around your chest. We've even worn ours as makeshift bandeaus by tying the halter strings under the armpits, around the back.

IF YOU HAVE A BOYISH FIGURE...
You can get away with bikini bottoms that are on the skimpier side. Jimenez explains that this silhouette helps to create curves, plus the ties are totally adjustable (great for women with ultra-narrow hips who have trouble finding a suit that fits).

Rather than become a slave to sit-ups, Jimenez recommends you hit the beach in a high-waisted bottoms, which will cover up any hint of muffin top and are very on-trend this season.
