Julien Hug’s friends, family and well-wishers will say goodbye to him Friday at a public memorial service.

The Bachelorette contestant, 35, died last week from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Everyone is welcome at the service, where a crowd of 700 or more people is expected, reports the La Jolla Light.

The memorial will take place Friday at 3 p.m. at the Village Church in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.

“We’re planning to seat as many people as we possibly can,” said Rev. Jack Baca, senior pastor at the Village Church, adding that the Hug family “very much appreciates the outpouring of love and support from friends and the larger community,” the Light reports.
