Could Mila and Ashton be next?
While rumors have been flying that an engagement is imminent for the couple – who have known each other since costarring together on That ’70s Show in the late ’90s – their potential future nuptials took a backseat on Saturday to the picturesque scene at a quaint private house where Michael, 35, married Katie Hightower.
It’s been a busy few days for the bridal party. While the bride went shopping on Friday on St. Simons Island, picking up a sundress and some scarves at a local boutique, Kutcher and the groom’s party enjoyed a round of golf at King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort.
The Two and a Half Men star even posed for a pic with the women’s golf team from nearby Coastal Georgia College, Hightower’s alma mater.
The couple’s arrival in the area was first revealed when a local TV news crew caught them arriving at the Jacksonville airport on Thursday, but Kutcher declined to reveal why he was in town.
This is the second marriage for Michael, who is a few minutes younger than his fraternal twin, Ashton. Diagnosed with what he calls a “mild” case of cerebral palsy at age 3, Michael has said, “I consider [Ashton] my best friend.”
Ashton was born at a hefty 10.5 lbs., while Michael was only 4 lbs. Michael also had a heart transplant at 13.
Joking last year while speaking to a group of students, Michael referred to his brother as Jabba the Hutt, the giant slimy Star Wars character, saying, “Of course Jabba the Hutt was fine. I tell people he must have ate everything while he was in the womb.”
