This is looking like Faith Hill’s year. The country singer, 33, already a big winner at both the Country Music Association Awards and the competing Academy of Country Music Awards, led the list of nominees for the 28th annual American Music Awards, announced yesterday. She’s up for four awards. (Among her competition in the field of favorite adult contemporary artist: New York native Marc Anthony.) All that, plus her album “Breathe” has been on the charts for a year . . . AND she’s married to Tim McGraw. Eight other acts — R&B’s Toni Braxton, Sisqó and Destiny’s Child, pop diva Celine Dion , rapper Eminem, country singer Alan Jackson, pop group ‘N Sync and pop princess Britney Spears — received two nominations each. Spears is also slated to host the gala. The AMA ceremony will take place Jan. 8 at Los Angeles’s Shrine Auditorium and will be broadcast by ABC.
