Toni Braxton is out of the hospital, but she won’t be on stage until next week.
The singer, who was treated for chest pains Monday night, has cancelled this week’s shows so she can continue her recuperation.
“We’re going to go ahead and cancel her shows … for the rest of the week,” a rep for the Flamingo Hotel-Casino, where Braxton has a regular Vegas gig, told the Associated Press. “We expect she’ll return to the stage next Tuesday.”
The 40-year-old Grammy winner – who has previously been treated for hypertension and pericarditis, a viral inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart – was released from the hospital Tuesday after undergoing precautionary tests at a Las Vegas medical facility. She is now resting at home, the casino rep added.
Her Vegas act, “Toni Braxton: Revealed,” is in the middle of a two-year run at the Flamingo.
