Sherri Shepherd may be sporting a much smaller size, but that doesn’t mean you ought to expect to see her become Hollywood skinny.

“I’m a real woman. I still have my jiggly arms and jiggly thighs that could start a fire,” The View co-host, 42, said at the New York Film Festival screening of her movie Precious, which opens nationally Nov. 6. “I’m not trying to look like Kim Kardashian, unless I can get a Lamar Odom like Khloe,” she joked.

Shepherd showed off her new body by stripping down to a bathing suit on her show in August.

“I just wanted to show people that if you made healthy choices, one of the perks is you can get into get into a bathing suit,” she said.

As for her role in Precious, which also stars Mariah Carey, the comedian says she had to tone down her funny gene.

“I thought the role was going to be funny,” she says, “but [director Lee Daniels] said, ‘No, I don’t want the funny.’ I begged him at the end, and he let me have a little bit, but I’m just so thankful to be a part of this film. It’s so inspiring.”
