The 83-year-old Supreme Court Justice revealed that she does 20 push-ups a day, along with 30-second planks.
“I do 10, and then I breathe, and then I do 10 more,” Ginsburg explained to thunderous applause, while speaking at the Temple Emanu-El Skirball Center in New York City on Wednesday, according to Fortune.
Her gym prowess is one reason why she’s feeling good – with no plans to retire.
“At my age, you have to take it year by year,” Ginsburg said. “This year, I’m okay.”
Ginsburg started working with personal trainer Bryant Johnson – and logging her daily push-ups – in 1999, after going through treatment for colon cancer.
“I never thought I’d be able to do any of this,” Ginsburg . “I attribute my well-being to our meetings twice a week. It’s essential.”

Johnson added that despite her small size, Ginsburg does the real-deal push-ups – with her knees fully off the ground.
“Exercise is the great equalizer,” Johnson said. “It doesn’t matter what size, shape or color you are.”
“A push-up is a push-up, no matter how you look at it.”
