What’s the secret to being one of the world’s best-looking couples? Being really, really into working out — with each other!
PEOPLE recently caught up with Gisele Bündchen — who starred in this week’s episode of National Geographic’s Years of Living Dangerously — and the supermodel opened up about how she and her NFL player husband Tom Brady stay in such killer shape.
Bündchen, 36, says she exercises every day, balancing five days of intense workouts with two lighter ones. That includes working out three times a week at Brady’s TB12 Sports Center for rehabilitation on her bad shoulders (while she loves extreme sports, the model says she tends to dislocate her shoulders) as well as Muay Thai, pilates, and daily yoga.
And when the New England Patriots are in the offseason, Bündchen says she and her quarterback hubby regularly work out together.
“We love it,” she said. “When he’s not in the season, that’s one of our favorite things to do together!”
According to the supermodel, she and Brady, 39, like to exercise with resistance bands.
“He kind of tells me what to do, and I kind of follow him,” she explained. “And I try to make it hard for him! There’s a lot of: ‘Who can do it better?!’ “
But that competitive edge is an advantage for the power duo.
“We kind of are [competitive] when we are working out,” she admitted. “We’re like: ‘Let’s see if you can do this! Watch me!’ We push each other more. I like that.”

“And the little one [Vivian], she’s just only 3½ — so she’s into anything,” added Bündchen. “She actually does yoga! And just running around.”
