There’s a stunning newcomer on the plus-size modeling scene – and she happens to have a famous dad.

Alessandra Garcia, daughter of Andy Garcia, 59, landed an editorial spread in SLiNK magazine, a British publication featuring women above a U.K. size 14.

SLiNK spoke to PEOPLE about the competition, which was open to women sizes 12 to 24.

“This is the first of its kind,” the editor of SLiNK, Rivkie Baum, told PEOPLE. “While there have been plus-size model competitions before, this is the most wide-reaching, and it is open to women of a wide size range. This is a real shot at a fantastic, life-changing career and we all can’t wait to give someone that chance.”

It’s all part of SLiNK‘s goal to be inclusive of all women, regardless of shape.

“Most magazines feature clothing that the average-size consumer simply can’t fit into,” Baum said. “I wanted to create something where the models were curvier and the clothing accessible to women of different sizes.”
