MOMMY & ME
While on bed rest awaiting the arrival of son Finn, Tori Spelling made sure to oversee every detail of decorating her youngest son's room. "In the early stages of my pregnancy, I found an adorable vintage giraffe figurine at a flea market. That was when I came up with the vision of Finn's nursery," Spelling tells PEOPLE. "[I kept that] vintage giraffe by my bedside table in my hospital room for the 2½ months I was there. It gave me hope."

POP OF COLOR
"I wanted [Finn's] nursery to be bright and bold so I went with turquoise and orange," says the new mom of the SPI Baby Beckett dresser (Hattie has the pink one!) and the Tempaper Marrakesh Honey Jade wallpaper she chose for the room. Cute fact: Horn and Masterson used the same temporary wallpaper in her hospital room. For an old-school feel, they added vintage giraffe lamps found online and hexagon-shaped mirrors sold at InvenTORI, the star's L.A.-area home decor and gift boutique.

ARTS & CRAFTS
"I made this macramé mobile with hanging papier-mâché giraffes with a friend who taught me how to macramé," shares Spelling. "I love making things for a room. Makes it so personal."

Horn, Masterson and Spelling spent many a late night trolling Etsy and eBay for all the vintage giraffe artwork and knickknacks found throughout the room. For more color, they added the retro yellow Finn rocker (how appropriate!) from Anthropologie and a mini repurposed bookcase. "It was an old chipped red $5 bookshelf I found at a yard sale. Liam, Stella and I sanded it and painted it yellow to match Finn's chair. The kids loved making something for the new baby's room." The neutral knotted rope puffs, lamp, wire side table and 4Moms mamaRoo rocker round things out.

For a personal and slightly rustic touch, Spelling hung this wrought-iron letter "F" near Finn’s crib. "Although we didn't find out the sex of the baby, [my husband] Dean and I have always known that we would have another baby boy and we would name him Finn."

TIME FOR CHANGE
Finn's ducduc Savannah changing table and matching Regency crib were custom finished per his mom's request. "I had never seen anything like their designs – their pieces exude style and glamour. And I knew they would be the perfect pinnacle to the nursery,” says Spelling. Her other decor faves: The orange Nook changing pad and Ubbi diaper pail.

Due to her delicate medical condition, Spelling (pictured with husband Dean McDermott and kids Liam, 5½, Stella, 4, Hattie, 1, and Finn, 8 weeks) relied heavily on Horn and Masterson to help make her nursery vision come true. "We were thrilled when Tori asked us to help her. But when we started the project, we didn't know Finn's journey into this world would be such a dangerous and emotional one. We really hope the room is a chic and calming space for our little nephew, and a reminder to Tori and Dean of what an amazing gift little Finn is."
