She’s playing one of the most fashionable first ladies of all time, but Natalie Portman was a vision herself on Thursday, at the New York Film Festival premiere of her new film about the life of Jackie Kennedy.
The 35-year-old Oscar winner, who is pregnant with her second child, wore a chic cocktail-length navy flowing dress with scoop-neck collar to the opening at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
Her hair back, she accessorized the sleek look with a pair of stunning green-beaded earrings and simple pumps.

The baby on the way will be the second child for her and her husband, French choreographer Benjamin Millepied. The couple, who were married in 2012 in Big Sur, California, are already parents to 5-year-old son Aleph.

“People like to believe in fairy tales,” Portman says in the trailer. “Don’t let it be forgot that for one brief shining moment, there was a Camelot. There won’t be another Camelot. Not another Camelot.”
“[We see] the toughness of who she was, dealing with what she had to go through while keeping herself together for the sake of the country and her family,” Portman previously told PEOPLE. “And also the vulnerability and the intelligence of how she really crafted [JFK’s] legacy.”
