Love is about to have a whole new meaning for Paul Rust and Lesley Arfin.
The Netflix show’s co-creators were spotted at Canter’s Deli in L.A. in April at a launch party for Haim’s new album, with Arfin sporting a noticeable baby bump, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
“Rust was very attentive to her and she was his No. 1 priority,” the onlooker says of the mom-to-be, who was spotted sipping on water and mingling with Jennifer Meyer while other event-goers enjoyed SVEDKA cocktails.

Arfin, 38, and Rust both co-created and executive produce the romantic comedy-drama Love — which Rust also stars in alongside Gillian Jacobs — with Judd Apatow. Aside from her work on Love, Arfin is known for her writing and editing credits on Girls and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Rust, 36, has written and edited for a variety of series like Comedy Bang! Bang!, Arrested Development and Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday, as well as lent his acting and voice talents to titles such as Inglourious Basterds, Bob’s Burgers and Fun Mom Dinner.
The pair married in 2015. This is the first child for both parents-to-be, who will join the couple’s pup Judy.
Love season 2 is available for streaming on Netflix now.
