It’s easy to imagine friends Jessica Alba and Jenna Dewan Tatum have a lot to bond over. They’re both multi-talented stars, busy working moms raising daughters and big supporters of the charity Baby2Baby.
And soon, the two will literally be closer than ever.
“We’re about to be neighbors!” Alba told PEOPLE at the launch of the duo’s “Mommy & Me” Havaianas collection, which benefits Baby2Baby, as Dewan Tatum added, “[My daughter] Everly is very excited. We walk by [the house] and she says, ‘We’re going to have friends soon?’ ”

Alba and Dewan Tatum, both 36, were inspired to get involved with Baby2Baby, which helps children get basic necessities, through their own experiences with motherhood. They each designed their own pair of Havaianas flip-flops, and all the proceeds from the collection will support the nonprofit.
“We’re moms and we know how tough it is to raise kids,” Alba says. “We have more than we could possibly ever need, and even with all of that, it’s still tough. Baby2Baby is here to alleviate a lot of that stress and pressure for families so that they can be the best parents.”

Another way the two are helping working moms everywhere is by encouraging them to abandon their guilt. “Every mother in the world has experienced mother guilt at one point. Remember: You’re doing the best you can and that’s all that matters,” Dewan Tatum says.
Continues Alba, “It really is about moms supporting other moms, no matter what your parenting style is or your circumstance.”
As to what their daughters have been up to lately, the Honest Company co-founder says, “My little one admires her older sister, so she’s always trying to wear something like her. They love to match Mom, too.”
On the other hand, Dewan Tatum calls Everly a “mini stylist in her own right.”
“Her seal of approval is a big deal — I don’t always get it,” Dewan Tatum says. “I’ll ask, ‘What do you think of this dress?’ and she will say, ‘Um … I think you could do better.’ ”
“[According to her], I was 18 years old, 14 pounds, my favorite food is beans and she wishes I had more time to play princess games,” Dewan Tatum says. “I was like, ‘I’m framing this forever!’ ”
Both families will be keeping busy this summer by hitting the beach — where Dewan Tatum and her husband, Channing Tatum, will spend some time camping.
“I’m embarrassed to say that we’ve never gone camping,” Alba admits, as Dewan Tatum responds, “It’s a good time. It’s really funny because you learn to sleep on the ground and it’s exciting.”
With hectic schedules, both stars say the key to making time for date night is planning — and they opened up about the last sweet thing their husbands did for them.
“Channing is a romantic guy,” Dewan Tatum says. “For me, the nicest thing he does is let me sleep in. That is the best gift.”
Alba shares a similar appreciation for her husband letting her sleep in on the weekends.
“Cash [Warren] does that on weekends. He wakes up and makes breakfast for the kids,” she says. “It’s the greatest.”
