SERVE IT SIMPLE
Instead of flowery or festive pottery, I usually prepare and serve most dishes in my ceramic bakeware for Target. It can go directly from the oven to the table, and still look great, while leaving one less dish to wash.

MAKE IT A FAMILY AFFAIR
If the kids are old enough, get them involved! My daughter Jade helps me prep holiday meals by topping and mixing in final touches. Not only does she love being included on the fun, but she's a master with sprinkles.

KEEP TRADITIONS ALIVE
In my family, we serve the traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinner of all fish courses, or La Vigilia! Then afterwards everyone gets ready for a ruthless game of Mercante in Fiera – it's so much fun!

DON'T GO EMPTY-HANDED
Instead of buying a bottle of wine or bringing flowers, I love baking cookies and gifting them in a beautiful box or festive cookie tin. It's the perfect way to pack, present and enjoy a holiday treat.

KEEP IT ALL ABOUT THE KIDS
My daughter is a girl who knows what she wants. This year, Jade created her must-have list for Santa using Target's Digital Wishlist. The best part? I shared it with family via email so Jade wouldn't get the same thing twice.

"She's been cooking for quite some time now," Laurentiis recently shared. "She's very into food. We'll see how long this lasts, but for now it is all consuming."
