The actress and her husband Rene Gube have welcomed their first child, daughter Bennet Alejandra Gube, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
The baby girl was born on Thursday, March 23, measuring 21 inches and weighing 7 lbs., 9 oz.
Heelan posted a funny snap to Instagram in early May: a selfie showing a mark her baby girl left near her collarbone. “My lil baby was suckling on my neck and it was so cute until it was weird,” she captioned the pouting pic.
The 30-year-old new mom’s followers got a glimpse of Bennet on Mother’s Day, when Heelan shared a photo of herself, her newborn daughter and presumably her own mom sharing a “chain” of smooches.

Gube, 37, and Heelan — who were costars on the two-season TBS series Ground Floor — were engaged in October 2014 and tied the knot in May 2015. They spilled the beans about their impending new addition on Halloween, sharing a photo of their hands over Heelan’s belly.
“Happy Halloween from the growing Gube family!!” she captioned the smiley photo. “Next Halloween we will be covered in spit up and diapers … and we can’t wait.”
Dad-to-be Gube followed up by posting a portion of his wife’s ultrasound photo, sharing that the couple’s first child would be a girl.
“This is my daughter’s hand. I get to meet her in March,” he wrote.

Heelan had a bit of fun when it came to sharing details about her first pregnancy with her social media audience, posing for a funny on-set shot in January showing herself from both the front and back.
“This is what I call “Party in the Front, Really F*#%ing Pregnant in the Back,” she joked in the caption.
Apart from acting roles on shows like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and The Office, Gube is a writer, having penned content for episodes of Up All Night, Ground Floor and the aforementioned CEG.
Heelan currently stars in the Tina Fey executive-produced NBC comedy Great News.
