The nose knows.
Amanda Seyfried‘s senses have been on high alert during her pregnancy, she told reporters at a launch for the Givenchy Live Irrésistible Délicieuse fragrance (out April 2017) in New York City on Wednesday.
The actress — who is expecting her first child with fiancé Thomas Sadoski — admitted that certain smells are having a stronger impact on her these days, which is common for pregnant women.
“The only thing that I can’t tolerate is body odor,” she admitted. “Normally body odor is, ‘Uh, it’s alright.’ But I cannot tolerate it anymore. If someone has it, I have to leave. I have a hard time with that.”
She added, “I can smell electricity. I swear to God I can smell the TV.”
The change doesn’t bother Seyfried though. In fact, she said, “I was looking forward to it.”
“Nothing makes me sick,” Seyfried admitted.
The 30-year-old actress also has been noticing some differences in her appetite, she said — namely, when it comes to sweets, a habit she used to be able to curb.
“I have a separate stomach for sweets,” she admitted, adding, “It’s pregnancy, too, I blame it on that. I didn’t think it was going to come back this harsh, but it did.”
Sadoski, 40, and Seyfried met in 2015 while working together on the off-Broadway show The Way We Get By. Later, on the set of their 2017 film The Last Word, sparks flew and PEOPLE confirmed their romance in March. The couple got engaged this past September.
