It appears Miley Cyrus will have another chance to shock viewers at an awards show.

Fresh off the heels of a still buzzed-about performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, Cyrus, 20, will perform at the American Music Awards, which will air Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. on ABC.

The announcement was made on Thursday’s Good Morning America, accompanied by news that new artist of the year nominees, Imagine Dragons, will also perform.

Other nominees in their category are Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and former American Idol winner Phillip Phillips.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis raked in the nominations, topping the list with six, including single of the year and artist of the year – which also lists Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake in that category.

Fans can go to to choose their favorite artists in these categories and many others, including top soundtrack, favorite male rap artist and favorite country album.
