Country’s Luke Bryan and neo-soul star John Legend will join Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic and R&B singer Jason Derulo as just some of the performers set to take the stage at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.

Bryan, 37, is already a top finalist, earning the highest number of nods this year for any country artist with six. The rock group Imagine Dragons, hot off the success of hits “Demons” and “Radioactive,” is a finalist in a record 12 categories, including two nods for top rock song.

The group OneRepublic is a finalist in the Top Duo/Group and Top Digital Song category for its hit “Counting Stars.”

Five finalists were announced live on Good Morning America Wednesday by Derulo. The awards honor music across 40 categories.

The show airs live on Sunday, May 18, from the The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
