Sunday night was ladies’ night at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum – co-ed trio Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood – clocked in the most wins as the spirit of Nashville filled the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. But the night’s highest honor went to Taylor Swift, who was crowned entertainer of the year.

“I’m just losing my mind,” Swift, 21, told the audience after her big win. “The fact that this is from the fans makes its so beautiful.”

Lambert, 27, snagged honors for favorite female vocalist, record of the year, video of the year and song of the year for her southern ballad “The House that Built Me.” Lady Antebellum won big, like they did at this year’s Grammy Awards, for their mega-hit “Need You Now,” scoring honors for album of the year and top vocal group. The Band Perry took home the prize for best new artist.

Hosts Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton, soon-to-be husband of the ever victorious Lambert, kicked off the ceremony with a few words of wisdom. For starters, don’t mess with Swift.

“If you make her mad, she’ll write a song about you,” McEntire, 56, told the audience, which included A-list presenters like Chace Crawford, Celine Dion, and Water for Elephants costars Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon.

The show also brought together performers who are seldom seen rocking cowboy boots, like Rihanna, who palled up with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. Even Twilight‘s British hunk, Pattinson, seemed in the spirit of the south.

“I like drinking a lot of moonshine,” he said, with a laugh, of his time filming in Tennessee while presenting favorite female vocalist with Witherspoon.
