Producers have some surprises in store for tonight’s CMA Awards – and PEOPLE has all the details!
Fans know that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley – who are hosting the show on Wednesday for the sixth straight year – always bring the fun, but this time around they’ll be getting a little help from some unexpected people.
The pair will be performing with the cast of A&E’s hit Duck Dynasty. “Look who’s gracing us with their presence tonight,” Paisley Tweeted along with a pic. “So psyched.”
The hosts will also be poking fun at the Luke Bryan/Zac Brown feud – which began in September when Brown slammed Bryan’s song “That’s My Kind of Night.”
“I love Luke Bryan and he’s had some great songs,” Brown told Vancouver’s 93.7 JRfm, “but this new song is the worst song I’ve ever heard.”
Underwood and Paisley are planning to sing “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” to the pair during their monologue.
CMA Awards Red Carpet Live will air Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. ET on GAC, followed by The 47th Annual CMA Awards, which will air live at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
