JAMIE LYNN GROWS UP
A few years ago at Kids’ Choice, Jamie Lynn Spears was a T-shirt-clad preteen sticking close to big sister Britney (inset, in 2003). But this year the Zoey 101 star, who turned 16 on April 4, looked every inch the glamour teen (and a dead ringer for her sis).
TERRI AND BINDI CARRY ON
Life since her husband, Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin, was killed by a stingray barb last year is “extremely difficult,” says Terri Irwin, 42, who walked the orange carpet with daughter Bindi, 8 (left), while son Robert, 3, waited backstage. “The kids and I have good days and bad, but you just deal with it as it comes. I get a lot of strength and support from fans that have been tremendously helpful, but part of me is still waiting for the day that he walks through the door.” Bindi—who helped present Justin Timberlake with the Favorite Male Singer award during the show—plans to continue Dad’s nature-loving tradition as host of Bindi: The Jungle Girl, premiering on the Discovery Kids Channel in June. But for now, Terri finds comfort in watching her husband do what he loved. “We have so much footage of Steve,” she says, “that it’s like we almost get to see him every day.”
WHAT’S IT LIKE TO GET SLIMED?
“It’s like being covered in hair gel. It’s not fun.”
“I hugged Steve Carell and Tobey [Maguire], who were both slimed, so I got half slimed. I was thrilled! It tastes like applesauce.”
“I felt like a slimed piñata…. Does this stuff stain?”

“Everybody should get slimed except for me. If I got slimed, my hair might never turn back blonde, so I say no, thank you!”
SO WHAT EXACTLY IS SLIME?
Though Nickelodeon keeps its recipe a secret, fans can make their own version with applesauce, vanilla pudding, oatmeal and green food coloring.
