FOR BREAKING CELEBRITY NEWS EVERY DAY
For this Halloween, Jessica Simpson chose a costume with a message to reveal her not-so-big secret. “It’s true!” she posted on her website on Oct. 31. “I am going to be a mummy!” The news ended weeks of media buzz and confirmed she’s expecting her first child with her fiance of one year, Eric Johnson.
The pregnancy, says a source, “wasn’t something they planned per se, but it’s also not something they were trying to avoid.
They’re really excited!”
The couple will likely wed after the baby is born, and are “crazy about each other,” says a source. “They want to enjoy this special time.”
HIS CANCER IS BACK
Former Survivor winner Ethan Zohn had 20 months of remission from Hodgkin’s lymphoma when his doctors confirmed his worst fears. “They told me [the cancer] was back and localized in my lung area,” he says. “It’s good that it’s not all over my body, but it’s still bad.” With his girlfriend of eight years, Jenna Morasca, 30, by his side, Zohn has begun a new chemotherapy that only targets the cancerous cells, and hopes to have another stem-cell transplant to rid his body of the disease. And he still plans to run in the New York City Marathon on Nov. 6. “I beat cancer and it came back,” says Zohn, who turns 38 on Nov. 12. “But it isn’t going to slow me down.”
Girlfriend Morasca has taken the news “like the rock star that she is,” he says. “There’s so much love there.”
“With the new drug, SGN-35, I won’t lose my hair again,” says Zohn, who visited a salon before an earlier chemotherapy session. “Thank God.”
“The big picture is to be cured,” says Zohn (with Morasca, in the throes of chemo). “I will do whatever I have to do to get there.”

IN A NEW BOOK, ELISABETTA REVEALS WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO DATE THE LEGENDARY HOLLYWOOD LADIES’ MAN
Four months after their split, Elisabetta Canalis, 33, is speaking out about her relationship with George Clooney, 50. “He was special to me … just as a father would be,” said Canalis in the book Questo Amore (“this love”), written by Italian journalist Bruno Vespa. “Between us there was a more father-daughter relationship.” Canalis, who has recently been linked to True Blood star Mehcad Brooks, said the Oscar winner never led her on. “[We] never spoke of marriage, nor of having kids,” she said. “The end of the relationship was not caused by the marriage issue, but instead by our personal needs.”
