BRITNEY’S LOVE LIFE: IT’S COMPLICATED
A romantic weekend trip to Santa Barbara, Calif., turned less than lovey-dovey for Britney Spears and her agent boyfriend Jason Trawick on June 11. “They argued the whole weekend,” a source tells Scoop. “They both looked miserable.” But back in L.A. June 13, the pair were all smiles attending the Toy Story 3 premiere. So what gives? The getaway came on the heels of a report claiming Trawick has been unfaithful. And while Spears is aware of the rumors, says the source, “Jason would never deliberately hurt Britney.” Friends of the couple’s have always insisted that their relationship is on-and-off and that they take frequent breaks. “It changes minute to minute,” says the source. “Every day is a new day. You never know what’s going to happen.”
5 BURNING QUESTIONS
MICHAEL JACKSON’S DEATH
ONE YEAR LATER
Michael Jackson’s sudden death on June 25, 2009, stunned the world-and raised plenty of concerns. Could his physician Dr. Conrad Murray, 57, be responsible? (Murray allegedly gave the singer the hospital-strength anesthetic Propofol before he suffered cardiac arrest.) What would happen to his children, Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8? And what has become of Neverland?
1 How are his kids doing?
Living with Grandma Katherine in Encino, Calif., they “have adjusted surprisingly well and are more open and playful,” says a source. “They’ve matured.”
2 How much has his estate made since his death?
An estimated $500 million from the This Is It concert film, albums and Beatles catalog.
3 Will his Forest Lawn mausoleum be open to the public June 25?
No, but fans can leave flowers outside.
4 What’s going on with Neverland?
The animals are long gone, but the rides at the ranch are being refurbished; the property will likely be sold.
5 What’s up in the Murray case?
He pleaded not guilty to involuntary man-slaughter, is out on bail and can practice medicine only if he doesn’t administer anesthetic. On Aug. 23 the court will set a fall date for police testimony.
On June 13 Kate Hudson, 31, was spotted strolling Paris’ Place Vendome with new musician beau, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, 32. “They seemed very much a couple,” a source tells Scoop. That night they hit the restaurant L’Ami Louis, where, coincidentally, Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper were also dining. Says an onlooker: “They pushed their tables together.” Small world.
“Tom Brady’s been Bieber’d. His hair looks like a yummy new … confection”

Tell us about Dizzy Feet.
We’ve provided scholarships to a lot of kids, and we want to keep doing that. [Dance] made a huge difference to me when I was growing up-it’s inspiring!-and I want that for everyone.
Do you dance with your husband, Tom Cruise, at home?
Oh, all the time. We’re constantly showing each other moves, and we break out into a dance on occasion if a good song comes on, sure!

He blew me away. He worked hard and didn’t need any pointers from me.
Does Suri like dancing too?
She loves singing and dancing-she loves performing, I can tell.

It was a night of funny business for Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, who launched their new comedy-content production company, DumbDumb, at N.Y.C.’s IAC Building June 10. Bateman and Arnett screened one of their new digital shorts for pals Justin Long, Amanda Peet and Jason Sudeikis. Lovebirds Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger slipped in together but kept their distance inside-she got in some girl time with Amy Poehler and Kristen Bell while Cooper hung with the boys. “This has been a lot of fun,” Bateman told Scoop of the new venture. “But things are busy,” he added, laughing.
