FOR BREAKING CELEBRITY NEWS EVERY DAY
Jennifer Aniston & John Mayer
‘THERE’S JUST MAJOR CHEMISTRY’
It’s Hollywood’s hottest fall sequel! Following recent dinner dates in Boston and New York City, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have been rekindling their romance with outings on the West Coast, including sleepovers at her Hollywood Hills home.
Aniston, 39, also celebrated Mayer’s 31st birthday at a party Oct. 15 with a dozen or so of his friends at Beverly Hills’ Grand Havana Room, a members-only cigar club and restaurant. At the bash, they sat side by side before heading to her house for an afterparty that lasted until 5 a.m.
Then two days later, on Oct. 17, Aniston and Mayer—who kicked off their courtship last April—hit the Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar for an intimate dinner. Despite Mayer’s very public musings in August (“I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right,” he said), a source tells Scoop, “They seem happy together.” So what exactly brought them back together? Says a friend: “There’s just major chemistry between them.”
HOT TEEN ROMANCES!
HIS JERSEY GIRL
Sure, Jonas, 20, and fellow New Jerseyan Danielle Deleasa, 22, are friends. But their PDA on a Point Mugu, Calif., bluff Oct. 19 (above) suggests something more! “They’re happy,” says a source.
A MODEL DATE
Miley Cyrus, 15, may not admit she’s dating model Justin Gaston, 20, but when he smiled at her from the catwalk during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in L.A. Oct. 15, “Miley was blushing,” says an eyewitness. Plus, “all her friends referred to Justin as her ‘boyfriend.'”
She’s 15. He’s almost 14. She lives in L.A. He lives in N.Y.C. But the iCarly star and the Naked Brothers Band star have been “going out” since spring. “They’re cute together,” says a source. “They like to hang out.” They even shared slime for a recent Nickelodeon promo.
Sexy Scottish import Gerard Butler, 38, is gaining a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most notorious flirts—and it’s well-deserved: On the heels of being romantically linked to Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Cheryl Burke, the RocknRolla star was spotted cozying up to Travis Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 33, at the Oct. 13 opening of his restaurant Shin. “They were flirting innocently,” says a source. Moakler’s rep insists they’re “just friends.”
FAITH’S ‘BIRTHDAY PRESENT TO MYSELF’
Not content with a plain old birthday card, Faith Hill went ahead and posed—in a bikini, no less!—on the cover of a magazine. “[It] is my 41st birthday present to myself,” Hill tells Shape in its December issue (on stands Oct. 27). The country singer credits Pilates, weights, crunches and cardio for her new bod. “It was so hard but ultimately so worth it.”
Hill was sidelined in January with a knee injury. After starting Pilates in July, she tells Shape that she “could bend in ways I haven’t been able to since I was a teenager…. My husband [Tim McGraw] loves it.”

The High School Musical star celebrated his big day with an intimate dinner party at Pace in Los Angeles Oct. 18 with famous friends. HSM costar Kaycee Stroh explained Efron‘s desire for a low-key celebration, “He’d rather sit down with friends than deal with the craziness.” Vanessa Hudgens, 19, helped plan the bash, says a source, who adds she later spent the night with her man at the swanky Chateau Marmont Hotel.

Guests included Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette and Jack Black. According to a source, “Olive’s party was like a big Hollywood premiere!”

5 Questions for …
The country star, 40, has serious bragging rights: Seven CMA nominations and a new album—his 13th!
1 How is Lucky Old Sun a departure from your previous 12 albums?
A lot of the songs that I’ve recorded, I’ve kept the audience in mind. I love to be loud onstage—really rockin’. In that sense, it’s a huge departure. This album is very laid-back, very acoustic. I look at it more as my “state of mind” record.
2 So what was your state of mind when you wrote the songs?
It’s no surprise my breakup with Renée Zellweger was not a fun thing. “Spirit of a Storm,” “I’m Alive” and “Way Down Here” were written during that time. You can’t fall in love that hard and that quickly and have it not work out without some residual effects from it.
3 What did you learn from that relationship?
I’ve learned to take relationships very cautiously. I don’t let too many people sit at my table. But when they do, they’re there for a long time. That’s in choosing relationships, girlfriends and friends.
4 On the album, there’s a song called “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven.” Do you believe in an afterlife?
Sure, I believe in heaven. I don’t think it matters what faith you are. Everybody has their own idea about how to get to the same place.
5 The Country Music Association Awards are on Nov. 12. Who will be your date?
I probably know who I’m going to take—but I’m not going to put her through the wringer, so I’m not going to say!
