5 I will never eat…sushi. I don’t like the way it smells, the way it looks and the way I imagine it tastes.
6 The most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done onstage was…tripped and fell opening for Rascal Flatts. The stage was wet, I slipped, and it took me about 7 minutes to get upright again. My guitar was on one end of the stage and the microphone on another.

8 My favorite cartoon is…
Woody Woodpecker. It’s just funny to say his name.

You know, I lived last year to the fullest; I had so much fun touring with Dierks Bentley and Brad Paisley, but I didn’t have time to give back. When everything was settling down, I was in my house relaxing, and I had this feeling of guilt just come over me.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU?
I walk about 3 mph. I started out thinking I was going to do 25 miles a day, but that’s not happening: You spend three hours a day talking to people! It’s going to take a minimum of 2½ to 3 months.
ANY INTERESTING MOMENTS ALONG THE WAY?
I went into this biker bar and said, “Hey guys, can I use the restroom?” Nobody spoke to me. It was like an old Clint Eastwood film. Then someone said, “Right, there it is.” When I came back out, they didn’t even look at me, but one of them said, “I know who you are. Be safe.” Very cool.
