Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1
The cover of this sequel to the rapper’s 2006 debut is totally black. But thankfully there’s no such void in the music: These songs enrich with both soul and social consciousness. 
Kanye West shares the mike with artists from his G.O.O.D. Music label—including Big Sean, Kid Cudi and John Legend—plus some outsiders (Jay-Z, R. Kelly). Given all that talent, though, this disappoints. 
All over the Road
Notching a country hit with “Lovin’ You Is Fun,” Corbin displays more easy charm on cuts like “That’s Gonna Leave a Memory”—even if his second set won’t leave the deepest impression. 
New to This Town
On his first album since the breakup of Brooks & Dunn in 2010, the country star fails to really conquer his new solo territory. At least “Complete 360” puts a fun spin on the breakup-drinking song.
