>Brought up in a world of privilege and pretension, the title character of the new FOX cartoon Allen Gregory (debuting Oct. 30) is sent to a local elementary school when the household budget has to be tightened. Looking and behaving like either a preteen Truman Capote or Hollywood’s tiniest agent, he’s high-handed, condescending and utterly insufferable. (His sarcastic whisper of a voice is supplied by actor Jonah Hill, who co-created the show.) This is one kid who should not stay in the picture. []
