Glee’s Matthew Morrison has something sweet to sing about. The actor, 34, popped the question to his girlfriend of two years, model Renee Puente, 29. Morrison’s friends Elton John and David Furnish announced the news onstage at the White Tie and Tiara Ball in London on June 27. He later tweeted: “I’m going to marry my best friend!”• Actress Natalie Zea, who plays Claire Matthews on the FOX series The Following, is getting married to actor Travis Schuldt. After 10 years together, Schuldt, 38, proposed to Zea, 38, on Kauai, Hawaii. Zea jokingly told People of their long courtship, “He wanted to make sure he gave the car a thorough test drive before he bought it.”
On June 25 Los Angeles prosecutors charged singer Chris Brown with a hit-and-run and driving without a license. Brown, 24, was allegedly involved in a car accident on May 21 in the San Fernando Valley and is accused of leaving the scene without showing the other driver his license and of providing her false insurance information. However, he denies the charges. “It’s not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has no damage to either cars),” he tweeted. “This is really ridiculous.” Brown is currently on probation after pleading guilty for assaulting Rihanna in 2009.

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak (inset) is expecting her fifth child. She confirmed the news on the June 25 finale of her series Don’t Be Tardy. Zolciak, 35, and her husband, Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Biermann, 27, have two sons, Kroy Jr., 2, and Kash, 10 months, together. Zolciak also has two daughters, Brielle, 16, and Ariana, 10, from a previous marriage.
Full House alum Jodie Sweetin, 31, is ending her marriage to her husband, singer Morty Coyle, 44. The former child star filed for legal separation on June 19, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple got married in March 2012. She is seeking custody of the pair’s 2-year-old daughter Beatrix. This is the actress’s third marriage.
Gymnastics champ Shannon Miller, 36, and her husband, Drummond Press president John Falconetti, 44, welcomed their second child, daughter Sterling Diane Falconetti, on June 25. The baby girl is named for the seven-time Olympic medalist’s maternal great-great-grandfather and paternal grandmother. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 15 oz. Sterling joins 3-year-old big brother Rocco.
MOURNERS REMEMBER GANDOLFINI
On June 27 about 1,800 family, friends and fans gathered at New York City’s Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine for the funeral of James Gandolfini. The actor, 51, best known for his role as Tony Soprano, died of a heart attack on June 19 in Italy. He was remembered by his wife, Deborah Lin, as a “loving man” who “cared more about others than himself.” His dialogue coach Susan Aston recalled when she last spoke with him, saying he turned down a movie this summer to spend time with his kids. “He said, ‘I don’t want to lose this time with [children] Michael and Lily.'” She added, “My teddy bear friend … you will be missed.”
