Franklin & Bash star Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 39, and wife Catriona, 34, are expecting their first child together in September. “We are all excited for the arrival of our new addition,” Gosselaar told PEOPLE on March 11. “We’ve always wanted a big family. Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson (inset), 48, is set to wed billionaire real estate developer Jeffrey Soffer, 45. The on-again couple dated for two years, then split in March 2012 and then recently became engaged. This will be the second marriage for Macpherson, who was married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon from 1986 to 1989. She has two sons, Arpad Flynn, 15, and Aurelius Cy, 10, with ex-boyfriend Arpad Busson, a financier.
Princess Lilian of Sweden, whose relationship to Prince Bertil was kept secret for more than 30 years because she was a divorced commoner, died in Stockholm on March 10 at the age of 97. She had suffered from Alzheimer’s in recent years. The Welsh-born Lilian May Davies first met Prince Bertil in 1943. When the two started to date, the prince’s father, King Gustaf VI Adolf, forbade them from making their love public. In 1976, following the death of the king, the couple married, and Lilian became princess of Sweden at age 61. Prince Bertil died in 1997 at 84.
