Chris O’Dowd, who played Kristen Wiig’s love interest in Bridesmaids, has a real-life bride of his own. The Irish actor, 32, wed British TV presenter Dawn Porter, 33, on Aug. 26. “Just married!” O’Dowd tweeted during the three-day celebration. He also posted a photo of himself and Porter wearing sweat suits. • Reality stars Rachel Reilly, 27, and Brendon Villegas, 32, tied the knot Sept. 8 at a lavish sunset ceremony atop the AT&T Center in L.A. The contestants met while filming CBS’s Big Brother 12 in 2010 and went on to compete on Big Brother 13 a year later, where Reilly won the $500,000 prize. The two then packed their bags for The Amazing Race earlier this year.


It’s official: Kate Bosworth is set to marry her Big Sur director Michael Polish. The Straw Dogs actress, 29, who recently alluded to a proposal from her beau, 41, in a travel blog for Vogue, confirmed her engagement on Twitter Sept. 4: “Thank you for all the wonderful engagement wishes…We feel truly blessed.”


The Voice host Carson Daly, 39, welcomed his second child, daughter Etta Jones, with longtime girlfriend Siri Pinter, 31, on Sept. 6. “Mom was a rockstar, [3-year-old] Jackson James is a proud big bro, and Dad’s drinking a cold one. Praise God,” Daly wrote on Facebook.


On Sept. 4 former Nickelodeon teen star Amanda Bynes, 26 (inset), was charged with two counts of hit-and-run relating to alleged incidents on April 10 and Aug. 4. She also had her driver’s license suspended. The Easy A actress faces up to one year in jail if convicted on both counts. Her arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 27. Bynes could not be reached for comment on the matter.


Model Amber Rose, 28, and her fiance, rapper Wiz Khalifa, 25, are going to be parents. The two attended the MTV Video Music Awards Sept. 6 and proudly showed off her baby bump. “We’re expecting a beautiful little baby,” the hip-hop star told MTV. “We’re so excited.”


Late-night talk show host Jay Leno, 62, volunteered to take a $15 million pay cut to prevent NBC from laying off even more staff members from the Tonight Show. He also extended his contract for two more years (until May 2014). His lower fee will help the network slash the show’s $100 million annual budget by about 20 percent.


After bravely overcoming ovarian cancer in 2003, Oscar winner Kathy Bates, 64, announced to PEOPLE Sept. 10 that she was diagnosed with breast cancer several weeks ago. The veteran actress also revealed that “after much consideration” she underwent a double mastectomy. “Luckily, I don’t have to undergo radiation or chemo,” said Bates. “My family calls me Kat because I always land on my feet, and thankfully this is no exception.” The Harry’s Law star is now active and plans on attending the Emmys Sept. 23-she’s a double nominee. “My doctors have assured me I’m going to be around for a long time. I’m looking forward to getting back to work doing what I love to do.”
