Country star Jake Owen, 30, wed model Lacey Buchanan, 22, as the sun rose in a family-only seaside affair May 7 in his hometown of Vero Beach, Fla. The country singer, who popped the question a month ago while onstage at his alma mater Vero Beach High, met Buchanan when she appeared in his music video for “8 Second Ride” in 2009. Owen, who hits the road June 2 with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney on their Brothers of the Sun stadium tour, says he’s “looking forward to being a husband … someone [my] wife relies and leans on.” • Former Dexter star Julie Benz, 40, tied the knot with marketing executive Rich Orosco, 38, May 5 in a Mexican-themed Cinco de Mayo wedding at the historic John Snowden house in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. The couple, who have been engaged since last June, met five years ago.
Former Lost star Matthew Fox, 45, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on May 4 in Oregon, where he currently lives. TMZ reports the actor and a passenger were on their way to a fast-food restaurant before he was arrested at 3:23 a.m. and released later that day. This incident occurred just eight months after Fox allegedly punched Cleveland bus driver Heather Bormann, 29, for denying him entry to the private party bus she was driving. She is suing him for assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress, and Fox is countersuing for slander. Fox’s rep had no comment.
Character actor George Lindsey (inset), 83, known for playing the childlike Goober Pyle in the 1960s series The Andy Griffith Show and its sequel Mayberry R.F.D, died May 6 in a Nashville healthcare center. His former costar Andy Griffith, 85, said in a statement, “I had great respect for his talent and his human spirit.”

Dennis Quaid, 58, and his wife, Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, 40, have put their divorce on hold. Buffington-Quaid, who filed for divorce in March citing “discord or conflict of personalities,” had her lawyer withdraw the divorce petition on April 26. They are the parents of 4-year-old twins.
Mira Sorvino, 44, and her actor husband Christopher Backus, 30, welcomed their fourth child, Lucia, May 3. The couple, whose other children include Holden, 2, Johnny, 5, and Mattea, 7, say they are “thrilled beyond measure.”
