A British coroner has determined that Amy Winehouse’s death was caused by too much alcohol, ruling it a “death by misadventure.” The Grammy-winning singer (inset), who died in July, had five times the legal limit of alcohol in her system.


Sex and the City actor Mario Cantone, 51, married his longtime boyfriend, musical theater director Jerry Dixon, 50, in a small ceremony officiated by Jay Bakker, 35, the son of late evangelist talk show hosts Jim Bakker and Tammy Faye Bakker Messner.


Die Hard star Bruce Willis, 56, is going to be a father again. Frances Bean Cobain, 19, has reportedly become engaged to Isaiah Silva, 26. Cobain, the daughter of Courtney Love, 47, and the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, has been dating the Rambles guitarist for more than a year. They both recently updated their Facebook status to “engaged,” and she wrote that she feels lucky to “spend the rest of my life loving my best friend.” • Vice President Joe Biden’s daughter, social worker Ashley Biden, 30, is engaged to Dr. Howard Krein, 45.


Sister Wives’ Kody Brown, 43, had his 17th child on Oct. 26, when his fourth wife, Robyn, 32, gave birth to their first child, Solomon.


Dorothy Howell Rodham, the mother of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, 64, died Nov. 1 in Washington, D.C., at age 92. In a statement her family called the former secretary “a warm, generous and strong woman.” Granddaughter Chelsea Clinton, 31, has often referred to Rodham as one of her “heroes.” • Ricky Pempengco, 40, the father of Glee actress Charice Pempengco, 19, was stabbed to death in a grocery store in San Pedro, the Philippines, on Oct. 31, allegedly by a drunk man who became enraged when Pempengco brushed against him.


Prince Charles has revealed that he is related to Vlad the Impaler, the ruthless Transylvanian prince who impaled enemies on stakes and inspired Bram Stoker’s horror classic Dracula. The heir to the British throne is linked to the Romanian warlord through his great-grandmother Queen Mary, wife of King George V. “I am descended from Vlad the Impaler,” joked the prince, 63, who has a home in the Transylvanian region and is helping to preserve the ancient forests in the area’s Carpathian Mountains, “so I do have a bit of a stake in the country.”
