Harry Potter actors Bonnie Wright, 20, who plays Harry’s love interest Ginny Weasley, and Jamie Campbell Bower, 22, who plays Gellert Grindelwald and also appears in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, are getting married. The couple met during the filming of the final installments of the Potter series.
Paramount Pictures executive Brad Grey, 53, married advertising executive Cassandra Huysentruyt on April 16. The wedding at the couple’s Bel Air, Calif., estate was star-studded, from good friend Brad Pitt, 47—Pitt and Grey are known around Hollywood as “the Brads”—to Tom Cruise, 48, and Katie Holmes, 32.
L.A. Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant, 32 (inset), was fined $100,000 on April 12 for making an antigay slur to referee Bennie Adams, 44, calling him a “fa****.” N.B.A. Commissioner David Stern, 68, called his remark “offensive and inexcusable.” Bryant apologized for the comment and noted that it came “out of frustration during the game, period.”
Grammy-winning singer Christina Aguilera, 30, and music executive Jordan Bratman, 33, who separated in September, were officially divorced April 15. The couple, who married in 2005, will reportedly share custody of their son Max, 3. The Los Angeles D.A. also just dropped DUI charges against Aguilera’s boyfriend, musician Matthew Rutler, 26, who was arrested on March 1. Authorities determined that his blood-alcohol level did not exceed the legal limit.

Fashion designer Bijan Pakzad died in Los Angeles following a stroke at age 67. The Iranian-born Pakzad’s Rodeo Drive boutique in Beverly Hills offers clothes, jewelry and fragrances, is known as the world’s most expensive shop and has supplied goods to the likes of President Barack Obama, 49, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, 63, and designer Tom Ford, 49.
DUKE LACROSSE ACCUSER INDICTED
Crystal Mangum, 32, the exotic dancer who falsely claimed that three Duke University lacrosse players raped her at a Durham, N.C., party in 2006, was charged April 18 with first-degree murder. Mangum allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Reginald Daye, 46, numerous times with a kitchen knife during an April 3 argument. He died 10 days later. This was not Mangum’s first run-in with the law. Last year she was convicted of child abuse and vandalism stemming from a fight with a previous boyfriend, and sentenced to time served.
