Billy Crystal’s beloved horse Beechnut, 27, who appeared in the actor’s 1991 film City Slickers, died Nov. 16. “Beechnut was, in a way, one of my best friends,” Crystal says of the equine pal he rode onstage while hosting the 1991 Oscars. “He was incredibly human in his instincts.”
