Tyra Banks, 34, was granted a restraining order in New York City March 19 against a man charged with stalking, criminal trespass and harassment. Brady Green, 37, of Dublin, Ga., was arrested after repeatedly showing up at the Manhattan building where The Tyra Banks Show is taped, sending flowers and trying to call her.

Hulk Hogan, 54, and his estranged wife, Linda, 48, were sued March 24 in Clearwater, Fla., by John Graziano (inset), 22, the man critically injured last August in a high-speed crash involving the wrestler’s 17-year-old son Nick. The complaint claims that the pair are liable as parents of the minor. Graziano, who was not wearing a seat belt, was a passenger in Nick’s Toyota Supra when the teen, a racecar driver, lost control and hit a tree. The Iraq war veteran will seek millions of dollars, his attorney said, adding that he was left semiconscious and will require care for the rest of his life. Reps for the Hogans had no comment.

Kate and Gerry McCann, the parents of 3-year-old missing British girl Madeleine McCann, received an apology from U.K. papers the Daily Express and Daily Star, March 19, and more than $1 million in damages over articles suggesting they had caused her disappearance last May.


France’s former first lady Cécilia Ciganer-Albeniz, 50, wed her Moroccan-born love, event planner Richard Attias, in New York City March 23. Her 11-year marriage to Nicolas Sarkozy, 53, ended last fall, months after he was elected president.


Country star and Dancing with the Stars alum Sara Evans, 37, will tie the knot this summer with Jay Barker, 35, cohost of a sports radio show in Birmingham, Ala. “He’s glowing. I’m glowing. We’re glowing!” Evans told listeners March 21 on his morning program The Opening Drive. Between them they’ll have seven children: Evans has three from her 14-year marriage to Republican activist Craig Schelske, which ended last year after a public divorce battle royal, and Barker has four with ex-wife Amy Barker.


Pamela Anderson‘s brief marriage to Rick Salomon, 39, was annulled in L.A. March 24. The actress, 40, filed for divorce last December, just two months after their Las Vegas wedding.


Neil Aspinall, 66, longtime friend and business associate of the Beatles, recently died in New York City following an undisclosed illness, surviving band members announced March 24. Dubbed “the fifth Beatle,” Aspinall managed the Fab Four’s company Apple Corps from 1968 to 2007.

Grammy-winning Cuban bassist and composer Israel Cachao López, 89, who helped pioneer the mambo style of Latin music, died in Coral Gables, Fla., March 22.
