Kenny Chesney spent New Year’s Day catching a wave in Hawaii. “Somebody has the bug!!!” his pal, pro surfer Kamalei Alexander, tweeted. The singer was recently named an honorary board member of the Coastal Conservation Association, which helps protect marine ecosystems. “Everyone needs to get involved,” Chesney said of the cause.

Darius Rucker and partner Clay Walker earned $30,000 for charity on the links at the 3M Celebrity Challenge in Pebble Beach, Calif., Feb. 5.
