“Congrats to Angelina and Brad. They are Hollywood parents who are truly dedicated to their children”
Congratulations to Brad and Angelina on the arrival of their twins, Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline. I absolutely cannot wait to see how beautiful the two newest members of the Jolie-Pitt family are.
I get a kick out of seeing Brad Pitt surrounded by all his cute children. Not too long ago, he was a carefree actor with no dependents. Now he’s the father of six—amazing. Brad and Angie were destined to become partners. They are two gorgeous, talented and loving people who also happen to be extraordinary parents.
No doubt Heath’s performance in The Dark Knight will go down in history. He was an actor who possessed a rare gift of quiet strength combined with innocence and sweetness. All his roles revealed his depth, and he was just beginning to reach his potential as one of the greats. I’ll remember Heath for the humanity and sensitivity few actors can genuinely display.
Tell the Academy to engrave an Oscar with Heath’s name on it and mail it to Perth. Done deal. Anyone nominated in the same category should graciously concede. Heath was unbelievable as The Dark Knight’s Joker.
DR. WILLIAM PETIT
My heart goes out to this man whose daughters and wife were murdered in their home. I can’t imagine the pain Bill Petit wakes up to each morning, having survived such a heinous attack only to live each day without his family. I commend Dr. Petit’s community for their strong support and wish him Godspeed in his struggle to persevere.

Thanks for spreading the buzz about bees. I learned about colony-collapse disorder this spring and have been trying to raise awareness ever since. It’s great to see that you dedicated a whole page to the topic. We all need to do what we can. Let’s keep ’em buzzing.

I give Jennifer Lopez kudos for two things: First, she looks wonderful after having twins, and second, she was happily married when she conceived and had her babies. Maybe some other celebrities should reevaluate what it means to be a lady.
Tony Snow, the former Fox News pundit and White House spokesman, was truly remarkable. He was a genuinely happy guy who may have left this world too early, but he did it with amazing grace.
Readers were touched—and angered—by our story about Erika and Eric Garcia, the young Alice, Texas, couple whose premature twins died just days after receiving a high dosage of the anticlotting drug heparin. “The photo of the Garcias with their baby brought tears to my eyes,” writes Rachel Ransom of New Carlisle, Ind., the mother of 6-month-old twins. Others railed against the packaging of drugs. Says Jean Grant of Fairfax, Va.: “RNs have been complaining for years that similar vials and color coding on different strengths of a medication lead to dangerous errors.” The Garcias have been heartened by the many supportive e-mails they have gotten. Eric has returned to work and Erika plans to resume her education. She adds, “We’re still trying to figure out what happened.”
