Well, it could have been worse. Vince Vaughn’s movie Fred Claus, a comedy about Santa’s brother, could have been shot on location at the North Pole. But he’s still plenty far from the woman in his life. While Vaughn, 36, has shipped off to London to film, Jennifer Aniston, 37, has been at her Malibu beach house barbecuing with Courteney Cox Arquette. Pals say Aniston plans to visit the Claus set before filming wraps in February. Still, “the tempo has slowed,” says a Vaughn source. “They used to be inseparable. Now they have busy lives in different parts of the world.” Vaughn has been working nonstop, filming Into the Wild and promoting his documentary Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show. Aniston’s also got a full schedule: In October she’ll hit Manhattan to appear onstage in 24 Hour Plays, an annual benefit, and make her directorial debut at a Glamour magazine event with Room 10, a short film about “the people who show up at the end of your life,” she said. Will Vaughn fly in for the premiere? He’s certainly got the miles.
