“I dream up these things in my bedroom,” said Cher, shortly after being lowered onto a Seattle stage while dressed in a jeweled Mongolian hooded coat and singing U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” The singer-actress, who is saying farewell to live performing during her North American tour, is not saying hello to subtlety: Her 11 costume changes require four dressers and her seven wigs a wigmaster.
