THREE QUESTIONS FOR … KATE HUDSON
1 IN YOU, ME AND DUPREE, YOUR HUSBAND’S FRIEND BECOMES A PERMANENT HOUSEGUEST. EVER DEAL WITH THAT IN YOUR REAL-LIFE MARRIAGE TO ROCKER CHRIS ROBINSON?
There are vagabond musician friends that wander in and out of our house all the time. There are two in particular who I’ve seen their genitals one too many times.
2 YOU’VE WORKED WITH BOTH LUKE AND OWEN WILSON NOW. COMPARE AND CONTRAST.
I am a Wilson aficionado! I have gotten to know all of the Wilson brothers now, Andrew included. Their sense of humor [is] similar. But I would say Owen is the weirdest.
3 CHRIS SEEMS SO LAID-BACK, ANYTHING YOU DO ANNOY HIM?
I can sip on the same cold cup of coffee all day long. It just drives him nuts. My mom actually does the same thing and it drives Kurt [Russell] nuts too.
As virile swashbuckler Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Orlando Bloom makes some fans swoon. But others love him as the towheaded Legolas he played in The Lord of the Rings. “I was grocery shopping in Trader Joe’s and this woman just came up and said, ‘Are you my elf?’ What do you say to that?” says Bloom, 29, who has dated actress Kate Bosworth (on and off) for the past four years. So is the actor having trouble fighting off his legions of female followers? “Fight them off?” says Bloom. “Don’t be crazy. Bring ’em on!”
ANNE’S ADORNMENT AVERSION
Anne Hathaway suffers from PTTD—Post Traumatic Tiara Disorder. The cause: her crown-intensive roles in the two Princess Diaries movies. “There was one moment during filming The Devil Wears Prada when my character, Andy, goes to a benefit and the script called for the final touch in the whole outfit to be a tiara,” says the 23-year-old Hathaway. “I said I would only do it if, when they put it on, Andy yells, ‘F— no!’ and throws it against the wall.” They opted for a flower in Hathaway’s hair.
